Getting to Split - flights from Europe

Numerous European airlines offer flight to Split with frequent flights during the summer season. Getting to Split by ferry from Europe

There are year-round ferries from Ancona in Italy to Split with frequent sailings in the summer months. Jadrolinija opeates ferry route with fewer sailing during the winter months. The journey time is 10 hours. 

SNAV operated this route from April to October, running services several times a week.

Getting to Split by bus from Europe

Getting to Split from other Croatian destinations

There are numerous daily flights from Zagreb to Split that operate all-year round. This route is operated by Croatia Airlines and flight time is 45 minutes. There are also a few flights a week to Dubrovnik (flight time 35 minutes) and once a week to Osijek (50 minutes) during high season.

There are several trains a day from Zagreb with journey time between 6 and 8 hours depending on which train you take.

There are also, many buses daily from Zagreb and elsewhere in Croatia to Split. See the Zagreb Bus Terminal website or the Split Bus Terminal website for timetable details.

Numerous ferries and catamarans connect Split with nearby islands - Brac, Hvar, Vis, Korcula and others. Many of these services and run by Jadrolinija. Krilo (Kapetan Luka) operates catamarans between Split and islands of Hvar and Korcula. You can book tickets for Krilo catamarans from Split to Hvar or Korcula below:

Those who wish to travel down the coast may use Krilo (Kapetan Luka) catamaran service that runs from Split further to Brac (Milna), Hvar (Hvar Town), Korcula, Mljet and Dubrovnik and vice versa. This catamarans runs daily from mid April to mid October. Finally, Jadrolinija also have a coastal catamaran from Dubrovnik to Korcula, Hvar Town, Bol (Brac) and Split operating daily from the end of May to the end of September.
