Info On Driving In Dubrovnik

  • You must drive on the right side of the road
  • At unmarked intersections priority goes to the car on the right
  • Right turns on red lights are strictly forbidden in Croatia (unless an additional green light allows it)
  • Front seat belts are obligatory (in the case vehicles are equipped with rear seat belts passengers are required to use them)
  • Headlights must be turned on during the day
  • Use of mobile phone is not permitted while driving (except for hands-free systems)
  • Legal limit for blood alcohol content is 0,5 ‰

  • 80 km/h – outside built up areas
  • 110 km/h - main roads
  • 130 km/h – motorways
